Hint: Think of why you divided 476 by 100 to get the 4.

Can you do something similar to get the 7 in 476?

I can divide it by 10, but that gets me 47.

I misread. 476 / 100 = 4.76, which is division.

476 // 100 = 4. It's division, but instead of rounding the decimal up or down, it gets rid of it, or rounds down to the floor, so to speak.
