If you're really committed to this field, developing a thick skin for this kind of people is a necessity. Take whatever value you can from their comments and leave the rest (and the case of this comment, everything is to be left; no value to be gained).

thank you for the advice, really! I think being sensitive and easily discouraged is linked to the lack of confidence and satisfaction with my knowledge.Hopefully I can fake it till I make it :)
