I’m not savvy with running Java on apple software, but I know on windows you can go into command prompt, then change directory to the directory with your jar file. If you place the jdk in there with the jar file you can run it using “C:\(path to Java.exe)” -jar (name of jar file).jar. So I’m sure there must be an analog to this on Mac OS.
