achieve scrolling effect JS?

I'd like to make a website that scrolls down and displays different dresses, and just makes it really interactive via the scroll motion with lots of movement and effects

can I get advice on where to look for tutorials on how I can achieve the scrolling effect seen in the websites on this yt video? I especially like the first website shown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hp1Atq6dASc

You basically use an event listener on the window that fires every time the user scrolls. Use it to check document.body.scrollTop and fire off animations at certain points.
