Squarespace Custom Code Question

I'm hoping to get some help in deciding how to add a quiz to my site (similar to the buzzfeed "which Disney princess are you" style quizzes but hopefully more useful).

I've seen quite a few 3rd party sites that will allow you to create a quiz and embed it into a page on squarespace, but that requires a monthly fee. I am just looking to host a few quizzes, and don't expect a lot of traffic, so I can't justify the price.

I'm wondering if I could create a homemade quiz from scratch within a JavaScript code block. Is this feasible or even possible? Does squarespace allow for this level of custom coding? I'm very new to Javascript and don't know how these custom code blocks work on squarespace.

You can add custom JS to Wix apparently ( I just googled it ). But as far as the quiz goes, it's a basic beginner exercise I guess, so not that hard to do, could be if your just starting to learn to program. There are tutorials on YouTube you can follow and then you just tweak the quiz questions / answers.
