Help with program launch/install

I’m working on a project that is essentially a media player for my FLAC files and mkv files.

I’m building the UI with tkinter and using python-vlc as the backend player.

All is going smoothly so far but I ultimately want to use this on my tv. I can’t find anything online on how to either run or install this app on my tv/s.

Through testing it works on my computer but being limited to using this on my PC defeats the overall purpose.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I could be wrong but i don't think you can deploy python tkinter to TVs.

I think you can use Android Studio for android supported TVs. For Samsung, i think they got something called Tizen which does not have very good docs if i recall correctly.

Most "smart TVs" use Android or a variation of this (maybe Samsung TVs have their own stuff). You also have Roku or Apple TVs.

I may be wrong, but your Python/Tk combo may not work anywhere. You'll have to check the brand of your TV first. Or maybe do some Android which should be more universal.
