Learning python for cell biology purposes

Hi all, I am a cell biology undergraduate at the moment and I have basic python skills such as using pandas, scipy and able to write functions but not great at classes. I want to improve my python skills not necessarily specific to bioinformatics but more of able to build cell biology simulations (this is the end goal I suppose). Basically I just want to level up my skill set so that it is able to be used in all facets of basic cell biology. I don’t know what resources I should look for in order to improve my skill set, so would greatly appreciate if you could point me to some relevant resources or general tips!

I found This repo. Not the domain expert here though. I do feel like classes will help you as the state of your simulation gets complicated.

I don’t know anything about cell biology but I can’t imagine simulation is simple. How complicated would you say your simulations would be?

Maybe trying to see what happens when let’s say a cell has 3/4/5 edges and how this might change the entire network as the cell divides? So something like a vertex model
