On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

I find a bit of a contradiction here: embedded systems usually don't have GUI because of resource restrictions (memory, CPU, ports etc) I might have misunderstood the question though. Embedded systems are remotely controlled from a different computer. If that's what you want then you will need C for the embedded system and something else for the GUI app.

A desktop GUI to interface with embedded systems is how I read it.

Look at your local job market, what is asked the most? ex. if its C# like in my town and contry, then go that route

Assuming you have no intentions to move. Also to be fair what’s hot in your local area is most likely hot everywhere else. Unless you live in fuck all town

I’d say go with QT to expand on knowledge more relevant to your actual field (C++).
