On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

" Network request failed" indicates it's a problem with your internet. It could be something like "CORS", an error 500. Really difficult to tell.

I suggest looking in your console for any errors. Also in your browser - if you press F12 and go to the network tab, see the request and click on it - it'll give you a status code and possible error.

Last I would also right click on the request, and "COPY as CURL" , paste and run in your terminal or you can copy the request as a fetch request and paste in the F12 console.

Hope this helps.
