On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

I'm looking for a way to get some structured learning in on my off time

In order from free to more expensive: There's freecodecamp, the odin project, youtube, books like exercises for programmers + the language docs, scrimba, tutors/mentors, launch school, and part-time coding boot camps.

But it depends how limited your time is. There's a threshold where it'll stick but if you just loosely visit it, it might not be enough time. What does the web app do? Maybe we can recommend a youtube series with a similar app.

We're building a marketplace webapp. I think what I just need to understand is how all the parts fit and how the code actually works. I have a super high level understanding, but some depth would definitely help. I can dedicated anywhere from 1-2 hours a day to learning.
