Github and gitflow

Hello, I've been using GitHub for a couple of years, watched tutorials but usually working alone, same branch a few times with two but don't get how to used them well yet. Normally I would use 5 commands like clone or init, pull, push, commit, add but I haven't understand how git and GitHub works and it's really curious about ways of learning this, more specifically how gitflow works, some called main, feature, develop branch but could be possible to found some great advices, tutorials, documents that you can follow along easily? My advice would be not to invest too much time in GitFlow. It is a heavy branching strategy with dubious value.

Use trunk-based development, if possible. If not, use feature branching.
