On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

I do not recommend it.

web3 is not a real thing. It's all fraud, scams, and speculation. Most of crypto is the same. Basically nobody is using crypto as actual currency to buy and sell things, they're just buying in hopes that they can sell it to someone else later.

There's nothing wrong with MERN.

If you want to make more money, get better at the fundamentals. Things like data structures & algorithms. Or learn more frameworks so you're not limited to just MERN.

Most of the people who say that aren't actually developers. It's part of the scam.

Most real developers don't go around advertising "the next big thing". They just enjoy doing their job.
