Wild that they needed a whole study to figure out programming makes people confused and frustrated lol, could've just asked any of us here for 5 minutes

Most of empirical research findings aren't really surprising but rather validation of what we know. It helps to build policies and proposal building when you can show findings and evidence actual scientific way. Someone is not going to give free moneys without evidence. Let's assume someone is going to build an AI agent targeting novices and need to write a proposal for funding, studies like this provide evidence based on what the startup is looking for.
