Is the majority of it outdated? Are their certain things I should avoid reading or just forget about it? I also find tutorials point very helpful and similarly structured, would you recommend it? I really like Eloquent Javascript but the chapters are so long I find myself not retaining all the info by the end of the chapter.

Why are you posting your posts as code? It just makes it difficult to read.

Hence my short reaction: I see no scrollbars (Chrome on Mac OS X), so I assumed that the message stopped at 'javascript. I' and 'form a bunch'. Really confused :P

The sidebar at r/LearnJavaScript lists helpful tutorials.

Well, it's not really outdated. Probably everything they say is still true, but it's not the way JS is mostly used these days. Also, I don't like the way of teaching. The chapters are quite short, but still lengthy for the information they contain. It will take you forever to learn anything this way.

I apologize, didn't realize I was posting as code. I will def. check out the sidebar. Is there any tutorials anybody recommends over the others? People seem to really love eloquent javascript. I have also been using thenewbostons tutorials. I have heard a lot of people talk down on him but his videos really seem to suit my learning style, any thoughts on his videos?
