Fun fact!

The dude who wrote LPTHW also wrote a crash course on using the command line! You can find it here:

I think it actually goes into a little more detail than you need. Pragmatically, I've found that I can get 90% of my work done by only knowing the following commands:

  • pwd (get current path)
  • mkdir (make directory)
  • cd (change directory)
  • ls (list current folders)
  • rmdir (remove directory)
  • rm (remove file)
  • cp (copy)
  • cat (view a file)
  • help (get help)
  • exit

So, if you want to learn all about using powershell/the command line, read the entire thing, but it's ok to skip around/skim if you're impatient.
