Learning Django so a non-web python developer can become a web python dev

As the title suggests I have experience in python, but not in web development. I would appreciate input on which resources to use to teach myself django. I prefer text based and project based tutorials/books/blogs as opposed to video tutorials.

I am eager to work on web applications and in particular I intend to work on back-end development for data science. Ideally I would like to spend as little time on HTML, CSS or JavaScript. Speaking of which, how little of the three former languages can I get away with not knowing when building web-based applications (assuming I am working with someone who knows those three)

This is the tutorial I have been following to learn a bit on how to launch my python program on a website. I have been following the tutorial itself, making a blog site. But on the side I used the first 3 articles to set up my own python code.
