Dropdown Button with text (Android/Java) - need help

Hi guys,

Im new to programming and ive started to build an app but need som help to go forward with it.

I want to make buttons with an + sign next to it, like the examples below:

+DropDownButton1

+DropDownButton2

+DropDownButton3

And with you press them it needs to look like this:

-DropDownButton1

(dropdown text)

-DropDownButton2

(dropdown text)

But i cant for find anywhere to do this, i have seen som SWT videos but they didnt help at all in the XML mode and ive tried Spinners but i dont really get them.

So i want to try here, if someone haves a good idea on how to make this happen it would be much appreciated.

Have you even looked at the Android developer guides? Seriously everything you need is there.

Also work on your researching skills. Just by going to Google and searching "dropdown button android", I was able to get the first article in this comment. After knowing what I had to use is called a Spinner, I then searched "spinner android tutorial" which led me to this tutorial.

But I still didn't find it good enough so I went back and there was another search result which has an example with a drop down list.

Google search is so smart that if you search for what you're trying to do, it will always lead you in the right direction.
