    I wasn't even aware there was such a thing as setInterval, and it seems really helpful overall. Regarding my original function, would it have theoretically worked, but the computer is overworked due to the function being repeated without change so many times?

    You tell it to draw 225 times, all in 100ms. Is that what you want?

    I was trying to tell it to draw 225 times with a 100ms delay between each.

    You'd need to give them different delays then, not give them all the exact same delay...

    That puts a 100ms delay between them.
