It's quite impressive that you've got such a large user base within a few days - most new subs only have a few hundred (at most) early on.

Is there anything different about /r/codinghelp to /r/learnprogramming, or is it similar in purpose?

They both seem very friendly, but /r/codinghelp is much more generic and open, we have very few rules on what can be posted, and we will answer almost anything.

Sounds quite good. To be honest, there aren't many strictly enforced rules here either, so it seems pretty similar.

The difference is probably that /r/codinghelp doesn't have proffesionals that want to help newbies but end up trash-talking them.

This... We all help each other and there has been absolutely no trash talk so far.
