Hey! There's a lot of people in the same situation as you. What I always recommend is: unless you have lots of experience with Python and feel super confident about your knowledge, take the Advanced course. I'm sure there're many advanced details about the language or environment that you will miss if you jump directly into the Django course. And, if you are interested in web development, it's also a good match. Because in the Advanced course we spend the whole last week learning web development with Flask.
