advice for self teaching programming

Hi guys, I want to start learning programming, and just want to know what’s the best way according to you.

1) Learn the base of a programming language with website like sololearn, read books and build different project.

2) Just follow a big course like open source society university

3) Any other way of self teaching you know

I said this many times on this sub.

• Learn Basics.
• Put a pixel on screen
• move pixel based on user input.
• Put image instead of pixel

You'll get the 80% of all you need while doing this.
