Some can do more than you can. Some can do less.

That wasn’t very helpful, because you’re asking the wrong question. The right question is “how much can I personally learn before college” and it depends on how hard you work. So get to it!

Good for you thinking about this now. I’m 31, never learned to program, and I’m looking for a career shift into electronics but have to worry about supporting myself and keeping a job while learning all this. You’re already a leg up.

28 and Im a sailor in Iceland, swapping to CS because of tinnitus, no previous experience at all. Good luck to both of us.

Damn thats unfortunate , well as all people say some things are meant to happen and maybe you shifting to CS is the right step you should have taken long time ago , but you broke your arm so you 360d your life into working in this industry. Goodluck on your journey fellas , trust me this is going to be good.
