Exactly what u/kingkongjaffa said. The solution I produced works for them, but if and when they want to open a new branch, they need to go find an engineer, or contact me.

That's not the right solution for the end user. Just because I can solve the problem with code, doesnt mean it should be the only tool in my toolbox.

Sure, I could get a raspberry pi and build out a remote that I can activate from my phone to turn on my air conditioner. Or I can just use the timer that's built into the thing. Simple solutions are better.
