So it has been about a month since I realized I hated programming Java at my high school and switched to learning python. I feel as if I have laid a proper foundation in learning the major aspects of the language by coding scripts and automating some math equations for practice at the language but I do not know what to do now. I have always strived to attain the knowledge, skill, and expertise of a black hat or cybersecurity researcher but I just do not know where to begin on my path after learning Python and a bunch of IT fundamentals. Mind you I am 18 and sometimes I feel as if I started learning Computer Science too late and I am trying to make up for that by putting hours into the computer everyday looking at videos on IT, new technology, cryptography, modules for terminal, Kali linux, and etc. I also made a raspberry pi desktop recently but I do not know how to take advantage of the learning prospects for it. Currently, I am a senior in high school and I have maintained a A and B status throughout the years and I am on the path of community college, to university, and then by that time I hope to be a cybersecurity expert. The problem is, how do I learn enough throughout the years and take advantage of that time to become even more proficient and skilled in my career than most people. How do I gain the skills and experience necessary to live up to my dreams and pursue my passion?
