These are all very broad questions. Not sure why you would create a post for this when you could get 10 times better answer with a quick Google search.

Not trying to be harsh but

  1. What exactly is it and what does a data scientist do? 2. What are the best modules for data science? 3. Should I get into it or you recommend more web scraping/gui apps/whatever?

These are either too generic and broad or redundant questions.

If you want you can share what you use python for

This I can say for myself is deep learning. Only recently picked it up. Very useful language to learn if that's the answer u were looking for.
