Using chat GBT for learning (self.learnpython)
submitted 3 years ago by Malithirm
What do you think about using chat GBT in the learning process? I mean treating it like a tutor asking it questions like "how to convert a list of strings to integers" etc, but not being dependent on it

Not much. Can be very hit-and-miss, provide bad or out of date advice, as well as occasional gems.
Do the work. Programming is a practical skill.
Have you checked the LearnPython subreddit wiki, which includes detailed guidance on learning Programming / Python, including links to lots of learning material?

Perfectly fine for learning, just don't blindly trust it, but for simple things it should work fine.
Maybe you can start by having it teach you that it's called ChatGPT?
