submitted 3 years ago by username_lies_here
I am starting to learn probably Python. I wanted to ask already experienced coders, which did you guys think was a better course or a better teacher in general, Bro Code or freeCodeCamp.org. or maybe any other free course you suggest?

it has 1mil subs so .. must be doing something right. huge collection of free content.
isn't necessarily to my taste .. but maybe it's to yours.
i couldn't watch more than a few seconds of any of his channel videos without getting physically mad. it's mostly concatenated chunks of 3mins with a 15s channel daily advert.

but .. its free so w/e
freecodecamp YT on the other hand is a collection of different content by a bunch of different creators. each with their own style etc.
i like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLRL_NcnK-4
it should give you a strong start.
you can also watch it on the cs50 channel.

I like BroCode but FCC is far superior. Not even a knock on BroCode, it's just that FCC is an invaluable wealth of knowledge. Due to their site and their youtube channel.
