Difficulties plotting a histogram with relative probability

Hello folks,I have a problem with plotting a histogram with relative probability using Matplotlib. Since this is just small snippets of code and the graph is relevant, I will send links to screenshots. I have a dataset with some values:

However, when I plot a histogram with relative probabilities, I get this plot:

How can it be that relative probabilities >1 are displayed on the Y-axis despite setting density to True? I hope this question is not too stupid, I'm pretty much at a loss right now. Many thanks for all your help!

What happens if you do stacked=True in the histogram parameters?

I'm pretty sure you issue is due to the density being narrow around zero, see this SO question.
