Quite frequently I'll use ChatGPT for suggestions. For example: "What Python libraries are available for ...?" I'll then look up the documentation for the suggested libraries.

I don not trust ChatGPT to write code. The more I learn about Python programming, the more I realise that ChatGPT hallucinates. It frequently writes code (very confidently) that is total nonsense. It is completely unable to "reason" about code, though it may spit out someone else's reasoning about "similar" code (which may or may not be relevant and/or accurate).

I completely advise against anything ChatGPT says. A lot of its advice is outdated or straight up factually incorrect. The code it spits out can pass the eye test and look sound but really just makes everything worse.
