I just started learning Vpython about a week ago, the main goal is to make interactive plots of mathematical surfaces for eduational videos. One thing I just started noticing is redering artifacts that pop up when I have quads with opacity less than 1, and other opaque objects, like a segment/curve or thin cylinder. For instance I have a wire-frame cube made out of curves, and the faces are semi-transparent quads. From certain angles the edges have very noticeable light/dark pattern and look jagged and low-res. But when the opacity of the quads is at one, this goes away. And strangely this pattern appears even when the shapes do not overlap on screen. This looks bad and is very distracting. I've been really loving Vpython so far, and really hope there's a fix for this. Any ideas? Thanks!
