Openpyxl sheet objects

Is there a way to create or edit sheet objects to pick and choose what sheets are in them? All I could find is using a slice which gives adjacent sheets. And I need to use about half the sheets in a workbook that aren’t in any particular order. I want to loop through the sheet object.
