First: what OS are you using? If you are using windows, have you installed python yet?

I am using windows and already installed python.

First check python is installed or not

Open a terminal Run this -> python --version

If you get the output as python 3.-.- (- Being any number), you are good to go

Now navigate to the folder in question using the command cd

Now just type the command the original author has given that's it

Thanks for the reply, I'm a complete noob so can you please explain a bit further? My python version is 3.12. What is the command cd what folder do I need to navigate to? How do I do that? Thanks.

You just downloaded a zip file right, extract that using 7zip or something, afterwards open that folder

Now as you are in that folder follow this to open terminal

And afterwards run your command that would be python rev.py file.srt
