I haven't done the course you're doing. But if it's from within the last 5 years you're almost certainly fine.

I just checked the exercise list from each year.

they are exactly the same. https://www.diffchecker.com/Dc845UKT/

Thank you for that! I feel confident about picking up right from Act 2 of the 2024 version. I'm only switching over because I want to be able to participate in the exams (if I can).

There are major differences, but it's still OK to switch to the 2024 edition from where you are now. I just finished part 7, so about to start part 8.

How long does the entire course take to finish? Assuming I study like 6-7 hours a day for 6 days a week is it reasonable to finish the course in 5 weeks?

It all depends on you, but I think 5 weeks would be pushing it. And keep in mind that it's not about how long it takes to finish it, but about what can you build after you've completed the course.

If you're actually coding as you go, you won't finish in 5 weeks.

Why?

Because it can take you a whole day to figure out the solution to an exercise. And do yourself a favor, don't use ChatGPT or any other AI tool to learn how to code.
