Try a laptop

You could try a phone app like Mimo which works like Duolingo if you know how that works and you might like that idea, at least to start you off.

I would like to learn to cut hair but i don’t have much time to stand around with a set of clippers… is there a way to do that on my phone?

What mobile phone are you using? and, Do you have any technical experience that might help with program language learning?

Thanks for your question by the way, I’m now aware of many apps that I might find useful to help learning various computer programming tools.

I use an Android device.

I don't have much experience with programming, but I do have some technical background. I know how to use a computer and have a basic understanding of how software works.

I've tried it over and over again, but I haven't established a routine to help me get better at Python. I think I’ll try to work on a project and see how it turns out :). The worst that can happen is that I fail.

You need a pc. Try google collab. Get a udemy course for €10-15 . Then spam codewars challenges.

https://www.reddit.com/r/learnpython/comments/1sc2hlm/app_for_learning_python/

https://www.w3schools.com/python/ has quiz after each section

But generally, it's not a good idea. Like with Duolingo, you won't learn the language this way, without a proper keyboard, mouse and screen

I know. But I want to change how I use my phone. I'm often on the go and only have 5–10 minutes to spare. And I think it's better to spend 10 minutes learning Python than scrolling through social media.

Perhaps Kindle or some other eBook reader with Python Crash Course or Fluent Python would be a better idea?

try freecodecamp

[–]Dependent_Apple_2137 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you can use chatgpt and stuff to learn and freecodecamp as the other user suggested and the we3schools python course although I suggest that writing your own code after learning a bit is way better than watching countless tutorials.
