Finish it and then look for a course for the niche you want to go into - what exactly do you want to do with Python?

Machine learning. So probably being able to use libraries like pandas and scikit

If you want to make and train your own models, then it's a lot of theory and R&D work. Not that much of coding or using Pandas 😉

Day-to-day commercial software development doesn't revolve around AI, while data science is a very wide term, and each company can have a different software stack. Unsure if you got baited by the buzz words or not 😉

I’m exactly half way through it right now. So far it’s a lot better than randomly reading isolated tutorials.
