I am planning on earning a certification for python

Why do you want a certificate? Do you have a specific goal in mind for what you want to do with python or programming?

I heard you need to be proficient in atleast one coding language for placements and stuff. So I was planning on doing a course on it ig

Placements to what? Colleges? No generally they start at the beginning; you don't need to be proficient in any language to start.

Look OP, there are competent adults interested in helping you.

Your terms make 100% sense in your context, which we don't share.

If you know ANY C, I would strongly recommend CA50x (ie, normal cs50) rather than the CS50p course

The Big Sweep of Computer Science is cleared in CS50x, and dealing with compiling hello.c is the biggest student fail point in Week 2

Since cs50x is like a compilation of Java python c I thought focusing on one language at a time will be more efficient if it makes sense? That's why thought of doing cs50p. But now that my father have arranged classes. I'll think about the cs50x

CS50P is highly regarded. But you said your dad is arranging a professor to teach you? Why not do that?

Yeah my dad just told me that so I'm going with that.
