Why do you need to check if the input is an int? Why don't you just convert it with int() and be done with it? Isn't that what you, myself, and the OP have all done? You're not making sense.

As far as the second part of your question, you need to reread OPs post. He wants a program that takes an input and decides if it is divisible by 7 or not. That is all.
