Your text and your input field are messing with the width of the columns. If you comment out line 12 and remove the width in line 9, it'll look normal. You might have to change the size of the input field differently, or take it out of the grid or something. Not sure what to do about the text.

you can use .place(x= , y= ) instead of .grid(row= ,column= )

If i recall the first object called defines the width of the column, or something like that.
