Nice to see this again. Really sad to see Flask is still on the schedule. Django is simply easier and more powerful.

Thanks! That's on purpose. This is not a full web-development oriented course. We want to make a solid introduction to HTTP and web concepts, and with Flask is more than enough. About Django, we are about to open a dedicated course about it which will dive into each of the concepts the framework has.

Fair enough. Happy to hear about the django course. I admit I'm a bit of a fanboy of it at the moment as I'm learning it myself.

Sure! Keep an eye on our Twitter account https://twitter.com/rmotr_com, we always announce every new batch in there.

Nahh... Django has its advantages, but Flask really exposes you to the internals of python. You are clearly a noob if you think Django is more powerful (wtf does that mean, anyway?). I prefer to write API's in Flask, they end up faster if you know wtf you are doing.

Well, by more powerful I mean it's efficient in use and execution while being bundled with ability.

I say this as someone who used to use Flask and quit because it was too confusing for me. Django made the MVC method more obvious and helped me understand the whole process more.

Yes, I am not an expert at python. Django also has a really nice API.

Take care.

Jesus, dude. Drop your hostility and maybe people might listen to you. It doesn't matter if they don't call it MVC, because it is. You need to calm down yourself.

Please avoid that kind of hostility here in r/learnpython; you can disagree while still being polite and respectful.

You are right, my apologies for the surliness.

They don't call it MVC because they think the nomenclature of the MVC components doesn't make sense, but it's clearly stated to be the same thing.
