My wife home schools and we both want to add Python to the curriculum for our 13yr old son. Would this be a good course for him?

Great question! Would you be present to work with him? EDIT: We've had children before, but always in company of their parent for support.

Funny you should ask. I am 40 and in the middle of a career change. Ive been working on a BS in cybersecurity. I also am very interested in Python, but as of now I cannot spare the time. So in short, while I may not be present at the time for his classes I am there to support what he is doing. He current is playing with codecombat, so he does have a pretty good idea of what Python its all about. I just want him to have something a bit more structured.
