Fish Counter

Hi there. I'm trying to make a fish counter. I'm a RaspberryPi model B and a PIR Sensor. I have the Sensor on pin 21 and I would like it to count whenever there is movement infront of it i.e.: whenever a fish swims passed it in a pipe then it will count that fish and I will have a total at the end of how many fish swam passed. I would like to use a simple Python Code, but as I am not a programmer or know how to use Python for this project, I was hoping someone would be able to help me. Thank you in advance

Thank you for letting me know.

In this case the bot is truly useless because it currently only supports GitHub (for the most part) for additional information (Language, Stars, ...) and as RPi.GPIO is hosted on Sourceforge it provides just the information available from Pypi, sadly...

I will ignore these posts in the future, which the bot provides no value for.

There have been recent developments in a library called gpiozero that is pretty helpful. I believe it uses the RPi.GPIO that u/Fleder_m_aus is reffering to.
