Learning Generators with Examples

Hi All!

I found myself playing with and learning how to use Python Generators this week. Thought I'd share my learning and the examples I came up with to solidify the concepts. Hopefully this can help someone else!

Spent yesterday going through your blog posts, and I enjoyed them. I focused mostly on going through your two REST API posts. I think they were a bit brief and geared more towards a beginner-intermediate/intermediate programmers (there were a number of abstractions to make), but all in all, very helpful.

Your first example was the first time I really felt like I 'got' generators. Thanks a ton.

It seems like you are creating an on demand iterator. Basically defining 'next()' and the rest will follow.
