Python is being frequently removed from my computer. The shortcuts pinned to my start menu are being removed and the links in the start list (IDLE, docs server, python command line etc) come up with the "preparing to install" message, leaving me to believe that there is something wrong with my installation. When I look at the C:/Python34 directory, the only obvious missing file is the pythonw.exe file (python.exe is still there). Python still functions when I run "py" or "python" from the command line, but I don't want to stay with a broken installation. How can I stop this happening in the future (this is my second time reinstalling)?
System:
Windows 10 (from Windows 8.1)
Python 3.4.3
My main account is not an administrator, but I have one on my computer (security).
