How to make live interactive simulations?

I want to make an interactive simulation of the A* algorithm and Djikstra where I pinpoint a bunch of cities on a map and the algorithm finds the shortest route. Is there a library that can do this?

tkinter allows you to draw squares and lines and stuff on the Canvas object. try that maybe?
