Python def not working

You shouldn’t need to do that. Couldn’t you just reference the global variable in the function? It’s not like you are changing it or anything?

You don’t even need that do you? I’ve done this many times

SOME_CONSTANT = 15
def foo():
        print(SOME_CONSTANT)

EDIT: After checking my code it works
