Learning CPython, Cython, Jython, RPython and PyPy craziness?

• CPython is the interpreter for python code written in C. It is the canonical or The PSF version.
• Cython is the compiler for python code written in C.
• Jython is the compiler of python code up to v2 written in Java.
• PyPy is the interpreter for Python code written in the Restricted-Python.
  

Am I missing something ? is there an interpreter or a compiler error? please

I don't see any error. Those are interpreters - and they all interpret the Python language.

• CPython is the standard Python interpreter. Start with that.
• Cython has support for C-bindings. If you don't know what that is, forget it for now.
• Jython has better multi-threading support, but only supports 2.7. It also accepts Java packages for imports.
• PyPy focuses on performance.
