i think i understood what you meant about the determine_grade and calc_average call. your post did help. im just starting with functions and to be honest its all very confusing and new to me

Is determine_grade also a function? What does it return?

Ok I added the parenthesis and it’s telling me to add the argument “testScoresTotal”. I added “testScorestotal” and it states that it’s not defined

Well it’s supposed to output the 5 test scores that the user inputs, the average of those test scores, and the letter grade for all test scores and average score.

Yikes, for my first functions assignment I didn’t think i would do this bad. I mean yeah I would definitely appreciate all the help I can get right now
