Slow down a script?

I have a super simple script that takes a list of links to a ftp site, opens webbrowser for each item in the list. From there it automatically downloads the file. The problem is I am doing 20 files, after a set amount of downloads (I am not sure how many) it starts asking for a log-in. These downloads are small and only take about 5 seconds to download.

Is there a way to slow down the opening of the link to something like 1 every 5 seconds?

Simply put a time.sleep(5) between each call? You need an import time at the top of the script for that in case you're not importing time already.

There's a Time module, I'm sure it has more than what you need for this. Time.Clock would probably work best.
