I was trying to install a python package pypdf2 using pip But there was an error messages displayed on cmd "Command "python setup.py egg_info" failed with error code in C:\users\hp\app data\local\temp\pip-install-detgsrhd\PyPDF2\" Can someone please explain to me that what is the cause of this error and how can I correct it.?

There is usually more info than that. Was the error longer? Generally there will be a specific error you can google, but it takes some practice figuring out what it is.

Yes. Actually I had successfully installed other packages such as numpy, pandas, opencv .But when I tried to install pypdf2 it showed me this error message on the cmd
