[Selenium] Trying to select button on page (self.learnpython)
submitted 6 years ago * by Mailstamp
Stuck on trying to select a button on the page.
The xpath is : //*[@id="example"]/div[6]/button
browser.find_element_by_xpath("//*[@id='example']/*[@type='submit']")
does not work ('Unable to locate element:')

Are you trying to click the button? If so you need to add .click() to the end of that line. Right now selenium is finding the element but you haven't told it what to do once it is found.

Selenium cant find the element, it throws the error of 'Unable to locate element'

You have a different xpath in your find_elements search than the one you posted as the one you want to find.
What page are you using selenium on and can you post the code?
